Melissa Greene is known for being the lead vocalist of the Gold-selling group Avalon. This album was produced by multi-Dove winners Bernie Herms and Nathan Nockels. Melissa’s 2nd solo builds upon the success of her debut album. The title track, Next Step sort of has the Beyonce tone to it with its bouncy beat and her vocals are just fantastic. The one song that really tugs at the heart string’s is To Trust You (Jody’s Song). The song is in remembrance of her brother Jody who has died of cancer. The heartfelt emotion can be heard within the song wondering why God took him and yet she still trusts in Him. The CD is truly a wonderful testimony of the talent God has given Melissa Greene.
