There is no doubt the IHOP worship team of Marcus Meier and Tim Reimherr did an excellent job with this self-titled debut album from 2004. The duo have created a fresh and invigorating sound while there's plenty of lyrical invention. The theme of "Fearfully Wonderful" is carried onto the next track demonstrating how an air of beauty can be transformed into a real sense of urgency. Also memorable is "I Can't Wait", with its infectious chorus making it better known as "The Wedding Song". Credit must go to the producers who have clearly put thought into the arrangement with a bold first track, "Come Fill Our Hearts". Overall, this is an excellent showcase carrying considerable prophetic resonance.
