This is the second album from a man who has been showered with favourable adjectives and award nominations. He was born in Los Angeles, the son of a pastor and grew up in Louisiana. Musically, he became a child prodigy but also came to know great tragedy with the loss of a brother who was also his musical partner. The person who later became his wife, Heidi, also became his new musical partner. Micah came to the attention of Bishop T D Jakes and this has brought greater exposure to his music. Each of the 14 tracks on this collection shows a major achievement of song construction, orchestration and production. A good example of the working together of lead and backing singers, musicians and production team is the track "Holy Visitation". The album has variation in the use of instruments and voices, guitars sometimes prominent, backing vocals sometimes prominent alongside the lead. Some of Micah's songs are minimal on lyrics, with just the effective repeat of a sentence. No doubt the success of the first album will be followed by equal or greater success of this one.
