Inspired by the story of Peter's nocturnal nautical experiences as recounted in Matthew 14:23-33, an album of 10 self-penned songs in a traditional country style, with acoustic guitars, programmed drums and synths, violin and harmonica in the mix. Playing time is a bit on the stingy side at 36 minutes, but Michael has a smooth and easy singing voice, albeit with nothing that really makes it stand out from umpteen thousand other purveyors of this genre of music. The songs themselves are quite reasonable, if not unduly memorable, production is satisfactory and traditional country buffs might like to investigate.
