Recorded in 1991. This is a hard album to categorise as this has elements of the kind of concepts that would mark it a "progressive" recording in that this is a grandiose vision! Take a pile of Biblical themes and interpret them musically with a pretty heavy nod towards classical influences. Scriptures are narrated to give a focus to the work recorded here. Keyboard player Michael Spelzini takes centre stage for pieces like "The Creation Of The Universe" and "Citador, The Stronghold Of Faith" which are solo piano pieces demonstrating his strong anointed dramatic piano playing. Elsewhere, he is joined by a variety of musiĀcians and singers, but this is predominantly instrumental. There is an excellent violin and piano passage that musically describes the crucifixion, and although the musicianship is of high standard, the overall production sound is a little ragged.
