Although well presented, with pleasant cover and featuring songs recorded by the talented Michael W Smith I really fail to understand the use this book is going to be to your average musical MWS fan. The songs, 8 out of 10 being co-written by Wayne Kirkpatrick and others are complicated both in construction, and keys and chording and although some may enjoy plucking along to their favourite singer, I think they would be much more likely to be frustrated from a musical point of view. Brice Inman, who transcribed the songs, providing chords, melody and piano parts has made an excellent job should you want an exact copy of the recording but this is not your average 'sing-along with your fav. Gospel singer' songbook. Evidence of a recording company once again cashing in on the unsuspecting fans. This book is strictly for the accomplished musician.
