It feels odd for me to start writing a review for Michael W Smith - clearly from the title of this album, he begun his career when I was but a twinkle in my father’s eye. Still, here is the “best of” from the last 10 years. It begins with “Signs” - a song that he co-wrote with his son, which is a real highlight. It includes his more recent hits “This Is Your Time” and “Live The Life” as well as the classics; “Love Me Good” and “Friends” - which is sung with Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Point Of Grace, Michael Tait, Joy Williams, Avalon and Mac Powell. Quite a line-up! This has all you would expect from a best of from an artist of the calibre of Smitty.

Another nice compilation in my huge ccm collection of vinyl and cd. "This is your time" all time fave, "I'll lead you home" luved the first time I heard it in 1995. I was hoping to see song "There she stands" on this compilation; yeah, what is life without disappointments. "Above All" could not have been left out. This cd collection also included a dvd, which sports 4 of Michael's music videos, which did include "There she stands". I also like the video for the song "This is your time"(not included). Michael is a great songwriter as well, others have made his songs ccm gemm classics(to include Amy Grant and Sandi Patty). GOD Bless! - Don
