Getting three of the finest female singing talents in Nashville to share the lead vocal mic isn't a new idea - and nostalgists might want to compare this project with 1993's groundbreaking 'Along The Road' album by Ashton, Becker & Dente - but here the concept is given a clearer worship focus as each of the talented ladies brings her considerable singing skills to worship songs. The effect is most captivating when the songs are less well known, for however ably Michelle Tumes and Christine Dente sing Tim Hughes' classics "Beautiful One" and "Here I Am To Worship" or Susan Ashton emotes on Stuart Townend's modern hymn "In Christ Alone", one can't help feeling a certain déjà vu. But Susan Ashton's rendition of Ian Hannah's "I Will Never Be The Same" or Michelle Tumes' take on Godfrey Birtill's "Outrageous Grace" are both breathtaking. And hearteningly, the two originals "I Believe In You" and "Your Love Falls Down" co-penned by the project's producer John Hartley, are both quality songs. If you're looking for top rate voices singing praises to God look no further.
