Mike is one of the new wave of keyboard whizzes/ composers/arrangers who are breathing fresh creative life into 90s praise and worship. This tape, recorded at Mike's own home studio, is little more than demo quality and suffers from some sweet-voiced but clearly inexperienced guest singers and Mike's not very good voice but still demonstrates the quality and depth of both his compositional and arranging skill. Some excellent new material that the worshipping church would do well to note though ironically the best track is an instrumental used by John Persson during mime performances. With a decent budget and better singers Mike could make a fine album.
