Hello everyone
Having heard samples of Mike's recordings including
'There Are A Few Of My Favourite Hymns, I realised that Mike Redway has a fine singing voice, been able to handle pop standards and ballads with Great sensitivity. I first heard Mike on Embassy records.
My cousin bought them . Slowly, I am accumulating a collection of his Embassy singles. The label was underated because it was a budget label exclusively sold in Woolworth's Stores (record buyers' snobbery) made by Oriole. Maureen Evans recorded for Embassy then went on to make a big hit with 'Like I Do' on Oriole.

I too would be interested in his Embassy career .
Anybody know if there are any plans to re-issue any of the Embassy recordings?

Looked at the website to see what Mike was doing these days. Seems to be a lack of info apart from
"There are my favourite hymns" - unfortunately no real info about that either, or maybe I'm looking but not finding - I'm new to this method of enquiry.
