A band seeking to occupy the same funky pop territory once occupied so ably by Heartbeat. And pretty good they are too if one gives a sympathetic listen to this low, low budget (3 days in the studio) album. Don't like the throwback rock 'n' roll "Food For Thought" but when they get onto more dance-worthy grooves Karen Lester shows herself to be a good singer while the band have some good rhythmic ideas. This kind of album really needs production sheen to come off but if you can take a demo-quality tape investigate. Best of all, book 'em.
