I heard through the grapevine that Word (UK) experienced nightmarish technical problems with this album (a nasty case of a high hum on the master DAT. . . ouch). Don't know how they resolved it but here is the album anyway recorded live at Doctor Billy Graham's Scottish Crusade in May and June 1991. It was by all accounts another highly successful crusade with thousands making commitments and the worship here is the usual mix of ancient hymns with a reasonable number of choruses. The standouts are the solo items by Sheila Walsh, Bryn Haworth, George Hamilton IV, Ian White, Graham Kendrick and Dave Pope though the two solos by George Beverly Shea dearly show that the dear brother is well past his best. Has anyone whispered the word "retirement" in his ear?
