If you are a fan of this new Orleans songsmith then you're likely to have these songs on other albums. But this is still worth investigating as on this 2 CD collection are five bonus songs - though according to sources they were recorded in a "cabin up on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain." On CD 1 we are given songs from the earlier years, ie, "Sacred Desires" (1995) and "Tender Mercies" (1996) while on CD 2 what we get are songs from the later years, ie, "If You Know What I Mean" (1998) and "Sacrament Of Life" (2002). Furthermore included in the liner notes is an interview with Mo himself. All in all a well produced set which captures the heart and humour of this very talented and often challenging singer/songwriter.
