Michigan's Modern Day Cure have been ministering in the US for a few years now and have supported the likes of Newsboys, Disciple and Lecrae. Now they have released their first EP. The opening track, "Hand Of God", is an anthemic call to hold on to God and move forward with him and would not be out of place in a Worship Central or Hillsong set list. "We Are The Brave" drops the tempo a bit with a nice use of sparse backing to the vocals for the verses and bridge and a full on chorus. The title track is a ballad showcasing the voices of Tamar and Tifani over a restrained piano accompaniment that slowly builds while "Always Good" closes the EP with all the trimmings associated with modern rock worship, jangly, airy guitars, reverb-soaked drumming and strong vocal lines. All in all, a great modern worship EP that manages to stand out from the crowd.
