Soulful music from New York's Montel Thomas whose music ministry spans a number of different styles. Although rooted in soul and R&B, there are elements of gospel, pop and reggae in different songs here. The problem is that the overall effect is an album that has little cohesion, there are little spoken tracks and introductions, fake sounding crowd FX dubbed onto some tracks which are frankly plain annoying and yet there are a few moments where the music is excellent. Unfortunately those excellent moments don't sustain the whole album. "Jesus My Saviour Is Real" is a winner with a cool slab of soul that grooves along and "Lord Speak To Me" is a piece of gentle contemporary gospel led by a choir vocal which is pleasant. Overall this album is simply trying too hard and not delivering much that makes me want to play it a second time.

I have not had the opportunity to hear this album, but I was browsing the internet, found you and I just want to say we Welcome the musical talent and enthusiasm that you bring to the house of the lord (CFCC). You and Donetta truly have a place in my families heart and it seems to me (but who am I) that you have found your place of worship. Praise the lord for directing you to CFCC, you are a blessing! AMEN

This album disappoints the real followers Christian music followers because it fails to convey the gospel genre with an the excellence that God gift is worthy to enjoy.

Grace and peace to you Mr. Louis thank you for your input

This is Pastor Montel Thomas the album you spoke of was nominated for a Stellar Award so in someone's mind, it represented Kingdom enough to be noted. While it wasn't my best work....I couldn't agree more with the fact that it lacked, not only Kingdom excellence but the excellence in the Kingdom that God has invested in me. I wish that we as believers represented with a lot of our comments publically what Kingdom truly represents. Nonetheless.......I am scheduled to release a work that will represent the Kingdom with power and authority.......GOTTA DANCE.....COMING 2008!!!! My name is Montel Thomas and I approve this message........www.myspace.com/thomastownsound
This represents my worship as a lifestyle !!!!!!!!
