This is a professional and competent debut (at least to the Christian market place) from Mr Del. Mr Del had his life turned around in 2000 having previously been part of the gangsta rap crew Three6mafia. So this guy as you would expect comes off like a pro. He is also the head of Holy South Records who are ministering to his local area. Mr Del lyrically isn`t pullin' any punches and deals with topics such as sex, drugs, alcohol and violence with a biblical attitude. This might upset some but as his guest debut rapper S Dot Fox puts it in the song "So Necessary" - "Traditional church betta wake up and reach the streets." Couldn't have put better myself. What I like as well is that there are a variety of different beats and approaches on the album which retains the interest. It is with great reluctance that I have to part with this CD. Oh Yes! The Future is definitely off the chain and if you think you like the cd, you should check him out live! I'm proud to say that this man, my pastor, is the crunkest preacher I've ever met. Up for some uplifting positivity with hard core beats? Then get out your seat and go cop this album!
