New Jersey-based R&B gospel singer Nadirah Dawson has left her career as a backing dancer to take centre stage as a singer. Her single "Take You There" is an invitation to dig deeper into who we are and our relationship with God. It's an up-tempo R&B track based on the Bible verse Romans 8:19, which features at the end of the music video. The video itself is typical of an R&B music video, featuring dry ice, stereos and a shaky camera. But it is still effective.
