South African singer Neville "Neville D" Diedericks has pulled out all the stops to make an impacting album. "Jesus Is Alive" is a great worship song that is toe tapping and lively. On "The Sun Will Shine Again" Neville switches to reggae with a heavy bassline and a ragamuffin rap from Jeremy Koeries. There is a second version of this song on the album which though slower and with less dancehall energy features vocalist Helena Smith and creates the same impact as the original. "High And Lifted Up" is a beautiful worship song that completely throws you down on your knees or has you waving your arms stretched in the air. The track features one of the few South African gospel artists known in the UK, Lionel Petersen, and Lionel's smooth vocals work well with Neville's. Neville D has written songs for Israel Hougthon and performed with American R&B artists like Joe and Keith Sweat and it's not hard to hear why. On the strength of this release, his fourth album, Mr Diedericks could soon become known in the international market place a point emphasised by the last track "Overcoming Faith" with words so inspiring you will be quickly finding the repeat button.

Product Description

Having been a musician, speaker, worship leader, song-writer and producer for over 10 years Neville D has developed into a well rounded entertainer of note.

As a songwriter, he has written with and for great artists such as Judith Sephuma (A call) and Israel Houghton (Identity). He has shared stages with artists and musicians such as Keith Sweat, Deborah Cox, Joe, Ernie Smith, Musa Manzini, Rebecca Malope, The Cape Town Symphony Orchestra and Allou April.

His latest offering Songs of Deliverance is soulful, mature but yet very vibrant and youthful. The eleven-track album showcases Neville’s versatility and growth as an artist – it draws from different genres, and the songs are about hope, change and deliverance.
This album features collaborations with Jayde Brammer, Jeremy (JK) Koeries, Hiram Koopman, Lionel Petersen and Helena Smith.

In addition to his own ministry Neville is also part of the New Breed together with Israel Houghton.
To Neville his life as a performer is never more important than his wife Liezle and children 'Who I am as a person is much more important than who I am as a performer'.

So, when we are all done with whatever it is we’re doing remember the mission 'UNTIL THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS' .
