I'm always wary when accompanying letters say "...please be gentle..." I would have thought that the truth, however hard it may be, would always be more helpful than hearing what you want to hear. Anyway, no matter - pressing on, this was recorded at New Covenant Church in Swansea last December and to their immense credit, all the selections are written in-house. Okay, so they may not be up to the heady heights of Hillsongs' standard, but they are enthusiastically and competently sung and performed, and what does come over clearly is the sense of genuine seeking after God and his praise. A promising first effort.
