Over the years America's Eddie Espinosa and Kevin Prosch, France's Flamme and Britain's Bryn Haworth have all led worship at this pioneering event but this year Matt Redman is now considered to be of sufficient stature to be given the whole album. And marvellously he does too, aided by a tight band and a set of anointed songs from the likes of David Ruis, Martin Smith (the album's co-producer) and, of course, Matt himself. You can always quibble about live worship albums (ie, the naff clapping on Andy Park's "The River Is Here") but limitations of sound are overcome and this truly is a window into what God is currently doing in key events like New Wine.
