Just imagine, one of your favourite bands releases a new album and you rush out to buy it, only to find it's full of songs culled from their last four albums. Any ardent Newsboys' fan will no doubt have most, if not all of these tracks that showcase the band in an attitude of worship. For those who still have not heard this multi-million selling group this is a release to relish. From their early beginnings in Australia the Newsboys have developed into a band that have sold out arenas, a feat accomplished by few Christian bands. "It Is You" is a strong opener but then the stone classic "He Reigns" follows to question whether there are any duff tracks here. Among the 11 tracks are "You Are My King (Amazing Love)", "Presence (My Heart's Desire)", "Devotion" and the standouts for me "Beautiful Sound", "It Is You" and "Lord (I Don't Know)". I recommend this album for those who have yet to discover this top quality band and their ability to apply top rate production values and songwriting craft to contemporary worship music.
