This is Brussels-based Miller's first solo album after working on a number of worship albums in Hong Kong. These are stirring songs which all clearly come from the pen of someone who is eager to share his faith. The overall feel is of a rock/blues idiom and the production is pretty good, but both the music and the lyrics are a little too clichéd to make any real impression. There are a couple of tracks ("The Garden" and "Lion Rock") on which Nick sounds a tittle like Van Morrison (thanked in the credits for his influence) and there are several tracks on here that deserve a listen ("Eagles' Wings", "Only You" and "Stormstiller"). On this first solo album there is plenty of promise for the future, but Mr Miller needs a little more originality if he's going to make it big.
