Nimal is a Christian Sri Lankan musician who apparently appeared on Top Of The Pops in 1968 with the song "Feel Like A Clown". I say apparently as I can't trace a hit in 1968 or any other year called "Feel Like A Clown". But leaving matters of arcane pop history on one side, what do we have here? Well, it's a fundraising album in support of Christian ecumenical school in Loughton, Essex, Davenant Foundation School and their new student forum tackling global issues. The songs take on some weighty topics like disaster ("Tsunami") and faith ("And Michael Said") with Nimal often duetting with singers "Sandra" and "Phyllis" but are crooned over such cheesy, middle of the road arrangements that, very disappointingly, it's a hugely corny musical mess.
