There are certain issues that affect everybody. War is quite probably the example that comes immediately to mind. The title track on this album by a Luton-based nurse remembers those who have given their lives in the pursuit of a better tomorrow for their world, the most important example being Jesus. "Signs Of The Times" is an insightful and often overlooked perspective of a woman whose young son had become involved in crime and been killed. There are also songs on the album dealing with loss and grief, with salvation and hope. This is Nini's second album of thoughts, ponderings and prayers brought together in the form of short songs. What badly lets the thing down is the production quality which is strictly bedroom demo quality. Shame.
