Imagine the Jackson 5 or Destiny's Child years before they were signed when they were all still at school - in other words there are five girls from Alabama who are all sisters aged 13 to 21. Dorothea, Rebecca, Katrina, Annie and Angela Ford consist the No Compromise Band, from Alabama, USA. Even their dad Keith Ford gets a look in as executive producer. The name No Compromise is to remind themselves to always stand true to what they believe in, no matter where they are or who they are with. This is their debut release, consisting of seven tracks where they play all the instruments themselves and have written all the tracks. They are no doubt the pride and joy of their parents and music teacher as any Junior High school concert would give them rapturous applause. Although the vocals are weak and the mixing poor so that it is difficult to hear what is being sung, the lyrics are uplifting and mature. But with such a substandard album I fear few will be uplifted.
