Anyone frequenting the darker reaches of Cross Rhythms gissa gig Music Machine tent this year will know that it was this bunch who created the most enthusiastic buzz among the crowd of talent-spotters. Presumably they'll be sending off for this demo/privately recorded tape though they should be warned that this recording is crude so that the levels and EQ on the buzz saw guitar makes them sound like a wasp in a jam jar. But press on hardy rad music groovers for these guys have something fresh. Lead singer Miriam Pitts has an exceptionally distinctive voice, a tiny bit like a lower octave Julie Miller and just not the kind of singer you'd expect with a HEAVY rock team like this. Somehow it all works and if you're prepared to overcome a below average recording you should send for this or even better book them for a gig
