After her two previous releases were received extremely favourably, Olwen returns confidently with this five track EP, and she sounds in fine voice. Mark Edwards is back again as producer (and first-rate pianist) but this time round a pop/rock vibe is the order of the day. All of the songs included here are self-penned and, lyrically, Olwen's skill of expressing herself in a simple, universal style is as strong as ever, such as on "Close Personal Friend", ("A close personal friend of mine said he'd love me for all time/He said that when he went away he'd come back for me some day"). On "Belong To You" Olwen's voice soars effortlessly over a backing that includes strings that wouldn't sound out of place on a James Bond movie soundtrack. "Promised Land" is another highlight where Olwen is joined by the congregation of CityCoast church in Portslade where she leads worship. Closing number "You Know My Name", over the course of its ten and a half minutes, builds from a beautifully sparse piano ballad to an epic full band work-out. A breathtaking finale to a record that could just be the finest of Olwen's career so far.

Very refreshing listen at music that is easy to the ear and matches my mood perfectly when wanting to relax and chill. I can be playing the music at any time when guests arrive and everyone comments on it's beauty and timeless rythms that soothe the soul!

As with all of Olwen's music this album shares the truth and love of God...my favorite so far.

An Amazing album so agree with the review. I have listened so much over the last few weeks and am still yet to get board of it. It just feels like the music is so full and rich that you are always hearing something new.
