It's been a long wait for the follow-up to their minor- classic album 'Run Through The Wastelands' during which time the Cardiff duo have become a trio (enter guitarist Matt Parsons). Now at last here's something new for us to get our teeth (sorry ears) into and this 3-song tape shows they still sport that blend of keyboard riffs chunky guitar and Depeche Mode coloured vocals that made their album so compelling. Andy Pidcock's voice bites across the layers of rhythm on "Life Time To Learn" and "I Need You" while the slow ballad title track is best of all with a mean and magnificent axe solo. A fine band.
