For their latest live worship release, the talented praise team at Faith Life Church in Columbia, Ohio were tasked with coming up with songs that reflect what Jesus means to their lives. Kicking off with three refreshingly inventive dance-tinged tracks (including the catchy "Be Glorified"), the scene seems to be set for an album of alternative worship songs that genuinely offer up something fresh. Before long though, proceedings soon settle into the kind of indefinable mid-tempo guitar-driven fare that is found on countless modern worship releases and, whilst these songs are executed with skill, there is a feeling that an opportunity to buck the trend might have been lost. Given the album's overall goal, there are naturally some very personal moments including the title track - written by worship pastor Amy Freudiger after she was healed of a 13 pound tumour - whilst an emotional spoken word section at end of "King Of Kings" is very stirring and helps communicate the power of God in a believer's life.
