This is Ordained Fate's debut album, an offering of speed/power metal. By studying the inlay we make a fairly rare discovery for this kind of music - Ordained Fate is 75 percent female (work that one out). Musically speaking, everything is competent but maybe a little typical sometimes, and as for Pam Scott's vocals... Well, I'm still not sure that having a female vocalist works for this sort of music - but what do I know? After repeated listens I'm still not sure if I like this album or not. The only faults are, one, the production by Caesar is pretty dull and two, opening the album with yet another 'let's slag off TV evangelists' song. Suffice to say, this album certainly isn't bad. But it isn't brilliant either.
