Reviewed by Alan Chesters When I reviewed the CD 'We Lift Our Hands', I said that it would be more evocative to those who've seen the choir or the DVD. This DVD confirms that view and out of the three hours of music created in a live concert at the ancient St Janskerk Church, Gouda, The Netherlands, the 13 tracks chosen for the DVD are all different from the 13 tracks on the CD, making the CD and DVD together a worthwhile combination. Tracks include "Ancient Of Days", "Shout To The Lord" and "God Will Make A Way", alongside items penned by the choir director, Tore W Aas. Whilst the choir and/or lead vocalists are central, the music is always in contemporary style, with guitars and drums a feature. Also featured is behind-the-scenes footage of the setting up of the concert and of the town of Gouda.
