When you've got a voice as flexibly sensuous and richly soulful as Otty Warmann's you can rightly believe you can sing anything. . . though if you're wise you won't. This free download selection is an impressive introduction to the singer while he and the great British public wait for him to be snapped up by a major record company - and surely that will happen. With just piano accompaniments and an occasional acoustic guitar Otty shows off his full vocal armoury and demonstrates conclusively he can sing R&B, pop, jazz, standards, whatever you put before him. His covers here include Bill Withers, Bob Marley and many others. Only the wince-inducing spoken plugs on "Fools Gold" were a mistake. Now he needs a good producer to turn all this great singing talent into a great record.
