Recorded live from the Passion Experience Tour in the autumn of 2001 in America. I can tell you that the influences of the musicians involved obviously include Delirious/Sonicflood/Matt Redman, etc, etc. What I can also tell you is that if you did not hear the audience you would not know that this is a live album. Has technology advanced that much, or do I hear the sound of studio overdubbing to enhance the sound? There are new songs, old songs, hymns and straight copies of songs (including Delirious's "God You Are My God" given a new title "My Glorious" and new lyrics but identical melody, instruments and feeling. Strange or what?). Power worship for a generation that likes its music loud, its lyrics basic and its CDs interchangeable with a number of other artists. I must admit that I do not like the last track "Dance In The River" as I do not want to be told to hold hands with everyone around me and dance in the river. What if I am travelling to work on the underground and the rest of the carriage do not want to join in? Lose the last track and I will listen to 'Our Love Is Loud' which will grow with repeated listening. You could do far worse than buy this album, or you could invest in Sonicflood's 'Sonicpraise' or 'Glo' by Delirious?.
