Reviewed by Elliot Rose "You have purchased the fruit of intimate moments spent in the master's presence and I am certain your life will never be the same again", claims the sleeve of Sri Lankan Pastor Jerome Fernando's second album. I wouldn't quite take it that far, but this record isn't all bad. Sure, it's incredibly repetitive and many of the songs do sound the same, using the same chord structures and instrumental arrangements, but its mellow tone makes it very easy to listen to. According to the cover, the album is "spontaneous worship", but it's not a live album - perhaps the spontaneity should have been followed up a little more, particularly lyrically, with several songs containing only a few lines which are repeated and spun out for five or six minutes apiece, padding the time out with Bible passages and prayers. The production quality is excellent, however, and the backing vocals boast pleasant harmonies, complimenting the soft violins, but the highlight for me was the bluesy electric guitar in "Romans 8: 12 (All Things)". The final three tracks are prayers by the pastor for the listener, all of which feature the exact same backing music.

The cd is only meant for those who have heard and experienced this marvellously annointed young man, as something to pray with later on. Pastor Jerome is the most amazing preacher, like I have never heard ever before, and I have heard many preachers throughout the years. He has really and truly been annointed by God, so that many more may come to know the Lord in spirit. This is a preacher where his very presence is life-changing and he has been gifted with a spiritual voice.
