When PC3 relocated to America in 2002 from Australia, they were probably Australia's most successful band on home turf. For this release they combine the best tracks from two independent live releases 'Electric' and 'Acoustic' to create this hybrid album that they sold at live shows in America before their Essential album 'New Map Of The World' debuted. The album was recorded at shows in November 2000 and June 2001 in front of a partisan and very vocal home crowd. There are live versions of future hit songs like "The Sun, The Stars & The Moon" and "The Killing Tree" as well as more obscure material. Certainly for fans of the band, it's worth digging around trying to find a copy of this if only to get hold of one of the best things they ever recorded. "Dip" is a surfer song but in this live setting the band rock out with a supreme, confident tightness and on the night they introduce didgeridoo maestro Adrian Ross who performs the most remarkable solo you're ever likely to hear on that instrument. Worth tracking down the album just for this track alone, it is one of the most exciting live rock tracks you'll ever encounter! Sadly, PC3 didn't survive the move to America and these days Colman is sowing his huge talents into the Newsboys as their guitarist! But this captures the band at the height of their Australian popularity and it's easy to see why they were so loved!
