Oh no! It's an exercise tape to increase my metabolic rate! Wait a minute, "The Alphabet Song"...this sounds like a kids' song. Phew, what a relief, I can put my trackies back in the drawer. This is a welcome rarity, a cringe-free kids' album! Paul Field produced the album and wrote most of the songs and has pitched this just right. There are some nice dance rhythms which give this a fresh feel and lona's Mike Haughton plays some tasty sax! Lyrically, the truths are expressed simply and attractively and this would suit children aged 5-10. The title track encourages kids to be fit for life in body and in soul as well. These songs teach and encourage children to believe in Jesus and have a healthy self image. There's great fun too, I like "The Vegetable Song" coz I hate sprouts too! The bull in a china shop sound effects in "Don't Be A Woolly Head" will bring a smile to your face. If you have children and you want songs that will encourage them in their faith and you want to sing along in the car as well, this is the tape for you.
