The best of Overstreet being extremely good, in every department. A songwriter of outstanding finesse, as reported in CR21 he has won the Country Music Songwriter Of The Year award, a much coveted industry recognition. He made some superb albums as a member of SKO, leaving them to branch out into solo work. Since then, his output has been exemplary, many of his songs proclaiming Christian truth and almost all displaying positive, life-enhancing values. We have here 10 of his finest, including "Sowin' Love", "Billy Can't Read" and "Seein' My Father In Me". Match these up with one of the creamiest voices around, an outstanding set of country musicians and you have a very fine collection indeed from the man I personally consider far and away the best Christian country artist.
