The Legend Of Joseph Of Arimethea' is described by the artist as "three separate songs, with the same theme, linked by instrumental" and records the story of the man who is thought to have originally brought Christianity to Britain. The music consists of vocals, guitar, piano and a keyboard pad which work well together. Paul Preston has a distinctive and interesting voice although the songs seem to be pushing the low end of his vocal range and more thought could be given to varying the vocal line away from the basic chord progression. 'The Legend' is one continuous piece of music with the instrumentals and unfortunately there is little variation in the mood, musical themes, tempo or melody causing the unfamiliar listener to find it hard to locate a frame of reference knowing where they are. More obvious pointers to know that "this is the first verse", "this is an interlude", "this is where the next song starts" would have been helpful.

Having lived in Glastonbury for quite a long time now and
heard this/these songs/trilogy, I can relate to the emotions
that the artist is tring to relate
