Pauline was a country singer for 10 years before coming to the Lord in 1984 and now she and her husband Chris (he plays guitar on this album) lead worship in and around Liverpool. She wrote all the 15 songs here and here lies the problem. Many use tired and obvious melodies and lyrics which go along decidedly predictable lines (“hey I’m so happy now I’ve found Jesus” goes one while on another she actually plumps for that all time couplet cliché rhyming “Calvary” and “set me free”). Pauline has a pleasant voice and can give a truly stirring testimony about Jesus’ transforming power. But her album’s weaknesses cannot be ignored.

Listening to all the excerpts of Pauline's CD on YouTube, I disagree with the reviewer across the board. Her voice is exquisite and expressive. Her lyrics express a full range of joyful sentiments of faith, which many should find comforting and strengthening. She may not be innovative, but she is certainly heartfelt, with a lovely tone. This CD would be a welcome addition to any gospel collection.

These songs were written over twenty one years the first one hey I'm so happy now I found Jesus, they are written at different stages of my life in the Lord and have ministered to me first and now to whoever hears them,I am still receiving e-mails from people who are bleseed by this CD and so I disagree with Mr Cummings remarks on the problem lies in the song writing. This CD was ordained by God and it is for His glory and for His purposes.
