It is odd that most of what we call Christian pop music is rarely heard on the radio and is rarely memorable. Sure, there are reasons why Christian music is overlooked by secular media shows, however one secular singer once told me that the problem he found with Christian music was that most of the tunes wouldn't stick in your mind after one three minute radio play...with that in mind I must send him a copy of Perry And The Poorboys album. Here we have what has to be close to the most perfect pop album in Christendom, or anywhere else for that matter. After one play you will be humming along with some of the most addictive tunes ever committed to DAT. "LADA" is an annoyingly wonderful song about worship in heaven with a hook line that even the tone deaf will be forced to sing, and Perry Springham's voice strains out the lyrics with all the passion and feeling of a man who's got just one shot at bringing some truth to those people who gotta hear it. For perfect, passionate, purifying pop, pop out and purchase Perry And The Poorboys.

i saw them, live in brisbane, perform their songs before the CD was even released. all i can say is "Awesome". The tape i got from the concert has been played to the death so i recently bought the CD. This is by far one of my favourite christian albums.
