This latest release is a considerable improvement on Peter's earlier 'Name In The Sand' and is a reasonably competent country gospel album without getting close to comparing with genre's finest. Peter has been working with his worship group at Holtwood Methodist Church and writing secular songs. This latest collection is very listenable and quite pleasant, it is however rather old-fashioned and suffers from rather stereotypical melodies and an approach to lyric writing which too often settles for tried and tested images and rhymes. An album unlikely to appeal beyond Peter's current circle of influence.
