Peter Moran is an excellent composer. The title track, unwisely tucked away on side two of the tape, is a little gem while several of the other eleven songs here, mostly based directly on biblical texts, are good. What detracts from enjoyment is the el cheapo production, the drumbox is particularly nasty and a certain lack of focus, 'Seventy X 7' being neither a fully fledged contemporary nor a praise album. But, as I said, Peter writes good songs and his and Andy Summer's voices are OK, so this is still worth searching out.
