War And Remembrance has achieved the right balance, which is required in a song book. Practical chords and song structure in the main with some slightly more difficult keys, notated guitar breaks and vocal harmony indications for the more adventurous. Published with melody line and chord symbols and written piano score, the keyboard part is interesting but not too difficult for a competent pianist. The middle section contains a very interesting colour dossier of Petra's albums and band information linked in with news items of the period 1977 to 1988, which I really enjoyed. Even if you are not a hardened Petra fan, this book is great for strong melody, good songs and powerful, back-to-basics, no nonsense Jesus lyrics!
