An album that comes out of Texas-based ministry Like John Ministries who declare their goals to be “to build a foundation for teenagers and the younger generation through the Word of God and Old Testament stories and to the elders that they might teach those stories to their children.” “OK,” I hear you say, “that’s quite a mouthful but what’s the album like?” A mixture of acoustic pop like the groovy opening cut which I could imagine FFH doing to mellow songs like “Chapter XI”, “Flesh Of Dust” and “Jude”. In fact the majority of this is pretty mellow. Whilst good for chilling out I’m not convinced how well it’s going to connect with “the younger generation” who might prefer to mosh with Pillar or groove with Out Of Eden. But hey, it’s a nice enough album but, if I am honest, though this is very worthy there’s nothing here that really touches me.

I am impressed with the spiritual depth of this artist. Pheyland has a special poetic sense in his lyrics that speaks volumes. I must agree that my favorite song is "Heavenly Blessings" too, and the music in chapter XI is inspiring! Makes me feel militant in a way...then it mellows out for a time and returns with a "bang." I can't wait for the release of his next one!

Freeman is definately a great opening song to the cd, in fact many of my friends who have children said there kids sing this song all the time. My favorite is "Heavenly blessings", and "Chapter XI". It's a great CD if your not looking for watered down lyrics. I look forward to any more cd's they have available.
