Every year many churches across the country pull out the tea towels for the Shepherds, and young girls get to hold a plastic baby in their church nativity plays. Very few such amateur thespians even contemplate trying to tell the whole Biblical story from start to finish, let along writing an entire West-End/Broadway style classical soundtrack for it, and performing it with a live orchestra. Somehow, the church also known as Peniel Pentecostal Church in Brentwood, Essex, managed to perform such a feat, and, amazingly, also managed to get their Director of Television to film it and produce a DVD. Remarkably, the quality of the music is professional and the vocalists highly skilled amateurs. Clearly a lot of very hard work has gone into this by a large group of blessed Christians.
