This album of 10 recent popular worship songs does not look very exciting at first glance. With fairly over-recorded songs, such as "Come, Now Is The Time To Worship" and "The Heart Of Worship" among the repertoire, it clearly isn't seeking to be groundbreaking. However, these classics are cast in a new light through the simple but refreshing three-part harmonies of the singing pastors whose classy albums have earned them a sizeable US following. I think simple is a good description of this album, simple music, simple harmonies, all allowing the listener to become engrossed in the simple lyrics with little distraction. It's nice, easy-on-the-ear and luminously sincere worship.
