The Thumbs are back, complete with a second guitarist and an EP featuring four brand new tracks. Their music has always reflected the fun side of the band, while never hiding the messages contained within each song. "Sidetracked" opens with a jaunty seaside keyboard, while the title track benefits from some excellent pounding drums in the chorus. "Bandit" is an atmospheric number with plenty of echoing guitars and Clinch's haunting vocals - reminiscent of early PIL. "Funnyside" winds up proceedings with the typical sort of moshing song that makes the lads from Barrow so popular on the live circuit. A must for your indie collection.
