As it says in the sleeve notes, it is almost impossible to criticize this recording on "its musical merit as many of the nuns are from the community and give their credence to spirituality rather than musicality." The atmosphere of reflection and peace is something that comes across very strongly from a recording like this and makes for a very relaxing listen. This is not Gregorian Chant, but plain Chant - ie, in the vernacular, so if your knowledge of Latin only extends (like mine) to et and cetera (and id est!), and you like chant, here's a recording you'll be able to understand.
