Tapes like this are gruelling to listen to and positively embarrassing to review, particularly embarrassing as this team from a Willenhall church are known and loved by the Cross Rhythms team and £2.00 from the sale of each tape is going towards helping churches in Guyana. But, biting the bullet, this tape is a painful mistake. Many songs meander in decidedly unattractive ways while the occasional attractive passages of melody are lost in way too many praise and worship/CCM clichés. The arrangements are shambolic. Worst of all the lady singer though having a nice tone is allowed fluffs aplenty, someone in control of the recording session should surely have ironed out her frequently suspect pitching. All in all, there are many more rehearsals needed. By all means do a recorded-in-a-bedroom tape guys. But please don't try selling it
