This is a collection of songs that my own two kids have grown to adore over the past few weeks. I actually think it has become a firm family favourite and will continue to be played in our home long into the future. The song listing includes some really well known worship songs that are popular on many a modern worship compilation including "Indescribable", "The Heart Of Worship" and "Draw Me Close To You". But rather than the usual pop rock renditions the versions here are sung in gentle, almost soporiphic tones to make this a perfect post-playtime wind-down CD. My eldest son especially found "He's Watching Over You" to be the perfect bedtime lullaby and it has now become his favourite tune to drop off to sleep to. There is also a DVD version of this collection of worship music for baby's spirit and mind which is also an excellent resource that many families would enjoy. It is just so great to find quality worship music that is well produced that encourages children from a young age to offer their praise and adoration to God. I know that when I hear my three year old outside on his bike singing "Jesus Loves Me" that it brings joy to my heart. I can only imagine that God takes great delight in it too. CDs like this one have really nurtured such precious moments.
